We are excited to welcome you to our Open House on Thursday, August 15th from 4:00 - 6:00pm. K-12 students and parents are welcome to come in to find classrooms, meet teachers, visit about schedules and put school supplies in desks and lockers. Tyra Gefroh Photography will be taking student school pictures in the Arena from 3:00 - 7:00pm. Even if you do not order a picture packet, all students will need to take a photo for the yearbook with Tyra Gefroh Photography. We are excited to have our students back in the building! Come in and say hi before school starts on Tuesday, August 20th!

7th-12th grade schedules are able to be viewed in Campus. 9th and 12th grade students are welcome to come in this week and make schedule changes if needed and also pick lockers. 7th and 8th graders have lockers already assigned and should see the number and combination in Campus. As parents, if you need help setting up a Campus account, please contact Traci in the main office.

All students going into kindergarten or 6th grade must have their immunizations up to date before starting school. A MCHC nurse will be available to administer vaccinations at our Open House on Thursday, August 15th.
Britton-Hecla School is in desperate need of a JH Volleyball Coach. Practices are Monday thru Thursday (no Wednesdays) from 3:30-5:30 pm. We have one Saturday tournament. If you are interested, please contact Britton-Hecla School - 605-448-2234.

24-25 School Year Payments for lunch can be made anytime using your campus app. Activity Ticket payments will open the week of August 12th in office. If you would like to pay using your campus account, please email danelle.elsen@k12.sd.us with your request for activity ticket fees. All tickets can be added to the campus app.
Activity Tickets can also be purchased at the BACK THE BRAVES night on Wed. August 14th and again Open House Day Thurs. Aug. 15th all day till 6:00PM.
Home Base Consent Forms https://5il.co/xib4 The Home BASE program is a community program that works cooperatively with the Britton-Hecla School District. The program will provide complimentary snacks and meals to students who may need additional food resources over the weekends during the 2024-25 school year. Any child enrolled in the Britton-Hecla School District may be eligible to participate. There will be a limited number of spots so if you feel that your child/children can benefit from this program we encourage you to return this form.
