24-25 School Year Payments for lunch can be made anytime using your campus app. Activity Ticket payments will open the week of August 12th in office. If you would like to pay using your campus account, please email danelle.elsen@k12.sd.us with your request for activity ticket fees. All tickets can be added to the campus app.
Activity Tickets can also be purchased at the BACK THE BRAVES night on Wed. August 14th and again Open House Day Thurs. Aug. 15th all day till 6:00PM.
Home Base Consent Forms https://5il.co/xib4 The Home BASE program is a community program that works cooperatively with the Britton-Hecla School District. The program will provide complimentary snacks and meals to students who may need additional food resources over the weekends during the 2024-25 school year. Any child enrolled in the Britton-Hecla School District may be eligible to participate. There will be a limited number of spots so if you feel that your child/children can benefit from this program we encourage you to return this form.

REMINDER - Athletes that are going into grades 7, 9 & 11 will need a physical before they are able to participate in sports. If you are in gymnastics or wrestling, you will need a physical in the 6th grade. Please make sure this is all ready to go before practice starts. Athletic registration will be online again through Bound. The forms you will need are on the Bound site. Parents sending their kids to football camp next week, please send some bug spray with your child. We are trying our best to keep the bugs under control, and we will have some spray. But, just to be safe, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have your own spray. We look forward to seeing you all next week!

The south arena hallway will be closed on Tuesday, July 9. Please enter the school through the north high school doors until further notice.
BHHS Football camp information needs to be in by Friday, July 12 at the latest in order to confirm a t shirt. You can pay the day of camp if they need to, but we need a head count. **Reminder**
The SDHSAA Summer Moratorium rules prohibit school-sponsored activities and contact between coaches and student-athletes in grades 7-12 from July 1 to July 7 each year. This means:
- No team or individual practices, training, or lessons
- No open gyms or conditioning programs
- No coaching, guidance, or supervision by school personnel
- No use of school facilities, equipment, or resources
However, student-athletes can participate in camps, clinics, or programs on their own initiative, as long as they are not organized by their school or involve school personnel.

Unofficial Election Results: Congratulations to Josh Hawkinson for being voted into a 3-year Board of Education term. We had a fantastic voter turnout and a close race. What a great community we live in! Go Braves!
This spring, an art piece by Taryn Kraft was selected as a winner for a healthy decision making art contest. Students in Mrs. Anderson's life management class and Mrs. Symen's art classes created healthy decisions art pieces and they were submitted to the contest held by the group, Strengthening the Heartland, sponsored by the extensions offices at SDSU and NDSU. Taryn won art supplies for the school.
